Nothing But The Truth is heading to DVD on 4/28/09. This is no good because this movie has only limited release in New York City, and film festivals in Toronto and Santa Barbara.

I finally watched Nothing But The Truth on DVD. To be honest, it has a great start, excellent build up and a huge let down. Kate did great again, and also the movie production had let her down again. I think they didn't know how to close out the movie in a meaningful way, so they have a half-a** ending. The alternate ending was even worst. Honestly the casting of Matt Dillon was a bad one, the younger people might not know, he should be about 50 years old by now. He just doesn't look right playing a 30 something person. If Nothing But The Truth would have competed in the Academy Award last year, it has little chance to even getting a nomination in the major category. I like KB a lot but this movie is not a Oscar quality production. I gave this movie a B.
